These micro C-lens are specially designed for applications such as collimator, isolator, switch, collimator array and laser Assembly. Comparing to gradient index lens, C-lens has advantages including low cost, wide working distance range, low insertion loss especially in long working distance.

2. Ball Lens

Spherical ball lenses are commonly used for laser collimating and focusing, laser-to-fiber coupling, fiber-to-fiber coupling, and fiber-to-detector coupling. Diameters from 1mm to 8mm are available. Additional AR coating to the ball lens is also available.
