Concave mirrors are used to collect and focus light without the introduction of chromatioc aberration. They are often used in broadband applications where the chromatic aberration introduced by a lens is not acceptable.
The concave mirrors have a protective aluminum coating on BK7 substrate, and the focal length of the mirrors vary from 15-500mm. Concave mirror with dielectric coating is also available. See <Laser Cavity Mirror>
